DAY 5 - Srinagar to Gulmarg (Day Trip)

A day trip from Srinagar to Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful experiences in Kashmir, known for its snow-covered mountains, meadows, and the famous Gondola ride. Your journey starts in the morning as you leave Srinagar for Gulmarg, which is around 50 km away and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by road. On the way, you’ll pass through scenic routes like Tangmarg, where you can enjoy views of pine forests and small villages. You can also stop briefly for tea or photos. Upon reaching Gulmarg, often called the “Meadow of Flowers,” you can explore the stunning surroundings. One of the main attractions here is the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world. Phase 1 takes you to Kongdoori, where you can enjoy snow activities like sledding, skiing (seasonal), and photography. If weather permits, you can also opt for Phase 2 to Apharwat Peak for breathtaking views. You can also visit places like the beautiful St. Mary’s Church Gulmarg and the famous Gulmarg Golf Course, one of the highest golf courses in the world. After spending a relaxing afternoon enjoying the views and activities, you’ll return to Srinagar by evening with unforgettable memories of the mountains.

DAY 6 - Srinagar local sightseeing+ jammu drop

A combined plan of Srinagar local sightseeing + drop to Jammu is a long but scenic travel day, covering major attractions before heading back. Your day begins with local sightseeing in Srinagar, where you visit the famous Mughal gardens. Start with Shalimar Bagh, known for its beautiful terraces and fountains built by Mughal emperors. Then continue to Nishat Bagh, which offers stunning views of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan mountains in the backdrop. You can also visit Chashme Shahi, famous for its natural spring water. After exploring the gardens, head towards the iconic Dal Lake, where you can enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride (optional) and soak in the beauty of houseboats and floating markets. Post sightseeing, you will start your journey towards Jammu. The distance is approximately 250–270 km and takes around 7–9 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. The route offers beautiful views of mountains, rivers, and tunnels along the highway. You will reach Jammu by late evening or night, where the trip concludes with a drop at your hotel, railway station, or airport.

All transfers and sightseeing tours will be conducted in a private, air-conditioned/non-air-conditioned vehicle (as

applicable) exclusively for your group. The car will be provided as per the itinerary for point-to-point transfers and

Local sightseeing in certain destinations may require the use of union taxis as per local transport rules. Charges for

such union vehicles are not included and are payable directly by the guests.

4. Lunch, Dinner & Meals Not Mentioned in Inclusions

Lunch, dinner, and any meals not specifically mentioned under the “Inclusions” section are excluded from the

package cost.

5. Personal Expenses

Any personal expenses such as laundry services, tips to drivers or hotel staff, telephone calls, room service, mini-bar

charges, shopping, or any other incidental expenses are not included.

6. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance of any kind (medical, accident, loss of baggage, trip cancellation, etc.) is not included in the

package. Guests are advised to arrange travel insurance independently.
